To add an MSDS to MyBinder you have to be logged in using your User Name and Password!

How to Find MSDS by searching or browsing.

Searching for MSDSs:

1. The Xchange database lets you search by typing the chemical name and/or the manufacturer's name and clicking the search button. An MSDS can be viewed by clicking on the desired chemical name. Add the MSDS to My Binder by checking the box next to the chemical name in the search result.
2. If you have more specific chemical information, like a CAS Number or product number, click on the Detailed Search link below the Text Box, and enter this search information.

3. The Manufacturer's Web site will give you a list of links that you can use to find an MSDS. Once you have found the MSDS, you can download it onto your computer then use MyBinder to add the MSDS to your collection. MyBinder will accept files from Adobe Acrobat and text files.
4. Alternately, you can enter the manufacturer information in the Google Search Bar to locate the manufacturer on the web. Download the manufacturer's MSDS to your computer then upload it to My Binder. If you would like to add the manufacturer to MSDSXchange's manufacturer list, click on the Manufacturer tab, then click add link with the corresponding URL.

Browsing the MSDSXchange Site for MSDS:

Browsing is clicking through the alphabetical links to find the MSDS from the Xchange database. Click on a letter and the first 100 MSDS beginning with that letter will appear. You can continue with the next 100 by clicking the Next 100 link above the Manufacturer column.

Building MyBinder:

Once you have located the MSDS you're looking for in the MSDSXchange database, click on the check box to the left of the Chemical Name. This will automatically assign the MSDS to your My Binder.

If you have not found the MSDS in the MSDSXchange database and have downloaded it to your computer from a manufacturers site, click on the Upload MSDS button. You will be required to fill in the Product Name, Manufacturer Name and the Product Code. Then select the file and your MSDS will be automatically uploaded to your My Binder.
